[REVIEW] Innisfree Eco Flower Tint

I love lip tints, but I honestly never once imagined that I would be buying one from Innisfree. I used to associate Innisfree with skincare more than makeup, but this product totally changed my perception. I picked this up with my usual purchase of toners from Innisfree because it was relatively affordable, and I ended up in love with this.

Product description

Eco flower tint uses floral leaf extracts to add vitality to your lips!
1. Balsam, calendula, rose, azaleas, and camellia extracts make your lips fresh and beautiful.
2. Tints use a creamy texture to moisturize dry lips.

I bought the camellia tint – a nice, bright pink that is atypical of my preferences, but which looks really gorgeous anyway.

Please forgive the ugly price sticker – it pains me to see the product ruined like this as well. You can also probably tell that I use this really often, haha.

The applicator makes applying the tint simple enough, but it tends to get a little messy sometimes. It also doesn’t help that this product’s staining power is really strong.

As you can tell from the texture, this tint is really watery and the colour payoff is pretty impressive. It looks even better when you apply it on your lips though. All it takes is one swipe for my lips to be thoroughly and evenly stained, and colour is really vibrant.

The tint also smells really sweet, much like a flower. I actually have no idea how camellia smells like, but I’m hoping that it smells exactly like this tint. It leaves a bit of a sweet taste in your mouth too if you happen to taste it by accident.

What’s even more impressive, however, is its staying power. This lip tint has seen me through long days, many meals, and many drinks. If I know that I have a long day ahead, or have no time to reapply my lipstick, this is the lip product I will definitely use. It doesn’t transfer much, and your lips will look as good as they did at the beginning of the day. It also feels very comfortable and moisturizing, so your lips not only look good but feel good as well.

Final Verdict

I don’t know how Innisfree managed to create this product because it’s so good that it blows my mind. If I were to write a list of my favourite lip tints (probably will get around to doing this someday), this would definitely be at the top together with its other Innisfree counterpart – the Vivid Tint Rouge. In fact, I love and use this product so much that I’m quite close to finishing it, which is a miracle considering the number of lip products I have on hand.

In addition, priced at less than SGD 10 and capable of lasting the whole day without reapplication, this product is worth every single cent it costs. I don’t always have such strong feelings for lip products, but this is one product that I strongly advocate for. I think it’s a bit of a pity that they have so few shades in this product range, but the current colours are gorgeous enough to satisfy me.
