[SMUDGE TEST & SWATCH] Battle of the Liners – Part I

I’m back with another smudge test!

This time round, I’ll be checking out the pencil liners in my make-up collection. Eyeliner is a must-have in my daily routine because my eyes really need that extra depth, but liquid liners are not always my kind of thing to struggle with in the morning. As a result, I have ended up amassing pencil eyeliners in a bid to find one that works for my oily eyelids.

Products swatched and tested:

Colourpop Crème Gel Liner

TFS Inkgel Pencil Eyeliner

Innisfree Always New Auto Liner

Etude House Play 101 pencil

If I had to rank the products by how smudge-proof they are, it would be like this:

  1. TFS Inkgel Pencil Eyeliner
  2. Etude House Play 101 pencil
  3. Colourpop Crème Gel Liner
  4. Innisfree Always New Auto Liner

Are there are any other products you’d like to see being swatched and put through the smudge test? Comment and let me know! ~

  1. Eyeliner is my favourite makeup product. Over the past 8 years I’ve tried so many. I’ve never tried these pencils but I’m interested in how they’d last on my waterline. Liquid is definitely best on the lid 🙂
