This is one particularly long list of ingredients. What jumps out at me are these:

  1. Main ingredient: water. Not a bad thing, it’s always better than having too much of some irritant.
  2. Lots of natural ingredients. This could be the only product I’ve seen so far with so many natural ingredients used. Soybean ferment extract, algae extract, barley seed extract, potato extract ferment, honeysuckle flower extract, shea butter, nelumbo nucifera flower extract etc. You can imagine how well formulated this must be!
  3. Presence of fragrance. Sadly, this product is not void of fragrance, so do take note if you have sensitive skin.

Packaging: Nothing much to comment on the packaging for a sample, but I do think the full-size bottle looks quite classy, definitely befitting of a luxury skincare product.

Texture: I was a bit surprised that it was a beige-coloured gel/cream, rather than liquid. I’m quite used to liquid serums, so I had to double check if the packaging indeed said serum. It’s not too sticky or thick and spreads easily on skin, although I would definitely have preferred something more aqueous. It also smells faintly of some herb/plant, although I can’t really pinpoint what.

Effectiveness: It’s hard to tell from samples, but I do have to say that it delivers as promised about giving you brighter, healthier-looking skin. It also delivers hydration, so you can use it as moisturizer as well. However, don’t expect it to solve other skin problems such as acne, huge pores etc.

Final Verdict

I’ve read a few good reviews online for this product, but I don’t see myself buying this anytime soon as my current skincare priorities include hydration and getting rid of acne.

If you want to invest in something for dull skin, this might be a good option for you to consider. You can try asking for a sample of this (if there is a physical TFS store in your country) before you decide to invest in the full-size product 🙂
